Why Granada?

Plaza Nueva Granada Spain

Granada is a place that’s hard to beat. Distinctively Spanish, steeped in history, varied in landscape and rich in culture. It provides an unforgettable setting whether you are organising a small, intimate teambuild or a full scale conference.

Set between two rivers on a fertile vega or valley, it is framed by the glorious backdrop of the sparkling Sierra Nevada mountains. Bustling, sunny, flower-filled plazas lined with palm trees and tapas bars contrasts with shady courtyard teashops serving Moroccan mint tea to the sound of tinkling fountains. Seven hundred years of Moorish rule ended here in 1492 and the architecture and food is still a beguiling mix of East and West, particularly demonstrated in the UNESCO Heritage Site of the Albaicin. The jewel in the crown is the breathtaking Typical Spanish Church Alhambra Palace, known as the eighth Wonder of the World.

Venues are varied, from the modern, state-of-the-art Congress Centre that can host up to 2000 delegates to the Pavilion of Arts, a unique building combining a conference hall with art gallery and workshops, through to four star hotels complete with stunning views, spa baths and relaxation treatments.
